Journal of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Sciences was first published in 1993. At long last, JHBPS has been recognized by the global community as an international medical journal. It is also the official journal of the Japanese Society of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery (JSHBPS) and the Japanese Biliary Association (JBA).
